Pint AI Product Updates: Week 4

Designing the MVP has begun!

Hey there!

We've had a few new people join us over the last week; this is super exciting, especially as we get closer and closer to the first rendition of Pint AI.

This edition of updates is a relatively short one. Let's jump right in.

Designing the MVP

We've finally begun!

After what has been months of conversations, zeroing down on the exact problem statements, and the value being sought, the itch to get building is finally being scratched haha!

We've started working with a UX/UI designer for this bit; user journeys, user intents, and output are currently being worked upon. Finalizing these things will help us ensure that you, our first users, will be able to get your information in the right place, at the right point of your journey, in the right format.

As we know with analytics tools, things can get quite messy quite fast; what we've realized is that complexity and simplicity aren't an either/or choice. We have to find a balance between the two — can we get you the information that you want to see in a seamless process, without diluting the quality of the information? That is the balance we will be trying to find through this process.

We're going to get the MVP running on Bubble.io. Bubble is a low/no-code platform to build web and mobile apps. This isn't going to be the final platform on which the tool is build, because, from our past experience, bubble gets quite slow with scale and complexity. But it's a super efficient way to get a low-fidelity product or MVP out there.

A Lot More Interest Than Anticipated

We've been receiving a lot more interest than we initially anticipated for this idea; the response-to-call ratio on LinkedIn is at an all-time high right now.

It's tough to manage the call-load between just Swagam and I, but it's so worth it! In addition to building confidence in our approach, these calls have brought in a few very cool ideas. Some of these ideas don't currently exist in our competitors yet (we know because some of you use them haha!). We'll talk more about these soon!

As a trial, we've also begun reaching out in more numbers to the UK — it wasn't a big focus for us so far, but the response rate has been super great. So we're doubling down for a couple of weeks to see if this hunch works out in a more consistent manner.

And that's all for this edition. As always, do write in to me by replying to this email, or to Swagam (swagam.dasgupta@pint-ai.com) with ideas, criticisms or anything you think could be useful as we're designing the MVP.

Have a great week ahead!
